  • 1 Cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1 Cup Mild Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 12.5 oz. Can Cooked White Meat Chicken

A few years ago, I worked at the Waterfront Place Hotel, and the restaurant had some amazing appetizers.  One of those was a BBQ Chicken Dip in a bread bowl.  I decided I needed to learn to make this, but I didn’t want it in the bread bowl.  Something about those disgust me.

After some trial and error, I finally came up with, what I think is, the perfect recipe for BBQ Chicken Dip.

For this recipe, use your favorite BBQ sauce. Everybody has their own preference, so I’m not going to force mine on you, but it’s Buffalo Wild Wings Honey BBQ, in case you want your dip to be perfect, as well.

Whisk together the softened cream cheese and BBQ sauce, add the cheese and chicken, stir together and place in a preheated 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.  Seriously, that’s all you do.

Visually, this isn’t the most appealing dip you can make, but taste-wise, who cares?

I love this dip with pita chips, but it is also good with crackers and tortilla chips.
